In their own words.

What participants say after playing Strategy Quest: leaders, strategists, designers and consultants from banks, pharma, tech and consulting.

The founders of Strategy Quest have built one of the deepest and most realistic innovation/growth strategy simulations I have ever seen.

Complex, nuanced, lots of tradeoffs and all of the practicalities of stakeholder management, thinking in bets, cost/benefit analysis and managing across time horizons.

An amazing body of work, and definitely something even the most seasoned executives and practitioners will get tons of learning from. I know I did!

Strategy Quest offers an incredibly flexible way of applying your strategic thinking and seeing that thinking be realised. Being able to see the effects of your choices play out is very powerful and I think enables a type of learning and experimentation that one would truly struggle to find elsewhere.

I've participated in Strategy Quest twice now. Both times were incredibly enriching, full of learning and fun.

I'd wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone who wishes to truly test their strategic thinking and learn from seeing their strategy play out.

I also think it's a unique experimentation ground to test your ideas. The simulation is incredibly detailed with stakeholders, competitors, regulators, suppliers etc. And it's great for stakeholder management skills development: the stakeholders you'll work with will be very important to your success just like in real life.

Well done!

Strategy Quest is one of the most engaging ways I've seen to explore what it feels like to lead innovation.

You're dropped into ambiguity, asked to make real decisions, and challenged by shifting priorities, all powered by agentic AI that responds in surprisingly human ways.

It reminded me of the mental satisfaction of strategy games like Catan or SimCity: not in structure, but in how it pushes you to think several moves ahead.

A thoughtful, well-executed use of AI. Highly recommend for anyone in innovation or strategy.

As an innovator, I've often wished I could put on a pair of vision goggles to see the future.

Strategy Quest gave me exactly that: a safe space to experiment, dare, and immediately see the consequences of my strategic choices.

A truly eye-opening experience. Looking forward to building our own specific simulation scenarios!

I participated in the strategy quest because I wanted to learn new concepts in a hands-on way.

I knew this was going to be a stretch from my current job role and skills. However, the way the simulation was organised helped me to look at it from a positively challenging perspective.

I very much appreciated the insights from Steve & Matthieu in between the rounds. I admire the detailed approach to a lot of aspects in this simulation, be it the stakeholders' personalities or the local economic influences.

The ability to try out different bets in a simulated environment is unique.

I would trade my MBA for such an immersive learning experience where you can practice your skills and interact with (simulated) stakeholders in real decision-making scenarios.

It was great fun all around! I've already signed up for the next series.

It was incredibly fun and genuinely challenging. It was a really interesting learning experience, a really rich one.

I got to work with levers that I wasn't familiar with, like Open Innovation and Corporate Venture Capital. Getting to see the ups and downs of them, when they might be most appropriate and when they might not be as appropriate (as we found out in the last session). The levers were one of the cooler parts of the simulation, and a great way to stretch your imagination in terms of what is possible and what you can do with it.

For me, taking part in Strategy Quest has really stretched a wide range of skills: creative thinking, strategic decision making and navigating complex information under pressure, while at the same time having this freedom to experiment and to take risks. So having experienced this mindset definitely helps for making strategic decisions at work.

It's a hugely rewarding experience. And I would recommend it to anyone looking to strengthen their strategic muscles.

I went in with a very open mind and I thought, OK, I've never done something like this before. I want to experience how it is. But it's better than I expected.

I found it quite challenging to be in a super high pressure environment, with a bunch of smart people, with an information overload, and eventually to come to a good decision. I think it took me two sessions to understand the different dynamics, so rather than focusing on smaller tasks, I focused more on being an orchestrator.

The feedback I received, on how to make good decisions under pressure, really helped me. It was a meaningful learning experience and I've tried to apply those insights already in my day-to-day.

A big thank you from my side because I wasn't sure what I was getting into, but I really enjoyed it.

I also very much appreciate the feedback on the pointers that were good, but also the ones I can improve on.

What are my triggers? What is my personality when I have to navigate complexity? For me this was the BEST insight I received.

To make a decision on strategy for a big company, while considering all the options, is something really valuable.
